How To Get Admission To The Virtual University Of Pakistan.

The Virtual University of Pakistan offers admission twice in an academic year namely spring in the month of January/February and fall in the month of August/September each year.

An up-and-comer (Pakistani National) can get confirmation application structure either from Virtual Campus or from VU site http://www.vu.edu.pk and apply for admission (subject to qualification criteria) by submitting filled confirmation structure with essential records including the expense paid challan/Demand Draft (in unique) to the closest Virtual Campus or via mailing at Registrars' Office (Admissions), Virtual University of Pakistan M.A. Jinnah Campus, Defense Road, Off Raiwind Road, Lahore. 1. Admission of Foreign/Dual National (Residing Within Pakistan)

Foreign/Dual Nationality holder candidates residing in Pakistan (provided can understand Pakistan’s National Language ‘Urdu’) and intend to study within Pakistan must follow the prescribed procedure of Higher Education Commission, Islamabad. Such candidates are required to submit following documents to the Admission Office, Virtual University of Pakistan, M.A. Jinnah Campus, Defence Road off Raiwind Road, Lahore, Pakistan: 
  • Filled out the original admission application form and its one photocopy;
  • Three duly filled out HEC Foreign Student’s information Sheet;
  • Three attested copies of Visa and Passport (Preferably color copy);
  • Three attested copies of Proof of Nationality
  • Three attested copies of Afghan Refugee Card (if applicable

On receipt of the above-mentioned documents and after due verification it is forwarded to the Higher Education Commission, Pakistan (HEC) and the concerned agencies for their approval. Thereafter candidate is intimated about admission.

Secondly, via an email to his/her campus (in case of a campus-based student) and finally, by mailing a hard copy admission offer letter and VU information material at his/her mailing address. 2. Admission of Foreign/Dual National (Residing Abroad)

An undertaking is to be uploaded along with Foreign National students for not applying for Visa.
Foreign/Dual Nationality holder candidate residing abroad allowed to study with the Virtual University of Pakistan (provided can understand Pakistan’s National Language ‘Urdu’) is required to provide the following documents along with their admission application form; complete in all respect, to the University.
  • One attested copy of Proof of Nationality
  • The declaration that he /she will not demand any letter from the University for the Issuance of Pakistan visa. However, during the visit to Pakistan, if any he/she will appear for the examination in the university designated exam center only.
